Weaning pens for sheep and goats
The weaning of kids and lambs is a very delicate phase in livestock farming. It requires dedicated facilities and an environment capable of ensuring optimal hygienic-sanitary and microclimatic conditions.
WEANING
Individual and/or group box
Early weaning in individual pens is generally used for males destined for fattening or for lambs born from twin births and rejected by the mother.
Group weaning on the ground is carried out using pens with mesh partitions that house approximately 20 to 40 lambs per group. Milk feeding is provided through an automatic feeding system, which can simultaneously serve up to 4 pens, each accommodating 40 lambs.
