THE GOVERNMENT OF CÔTE D'IVOIRE FOCUSES ON THE EXCELLENCE OF ROTA GUIDO
For Rota Guido, the modernization project of Côte d'Ivoire poultry sector continues: new inspection in Côte d'Ivoire by the technicians of the Rota company, world leader in the field of livestock facilities and equipment and renewable energy plants (biogas and biomethane).
The Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries of Côte d'Ivoire, through the national program to support poultry production (PAPAN), has in fact chosen the Italian excellence of Rota Guido for the creation of the national poultry supply chain through the construction of farms for the reproduction of broilers aiming at reducing the importation of chickens in Côte d'Ivoire; the construction of 150 farms with 10.000 heads/each for broilers, for a total of 1.500.000 heads and the construction of 90 farms with 10.000 heads for laying hens, for a total of 900.000 heads.
To carry out this project, Rota Guido shall manage 123 construction sites at the same time throughout the national territory!
ECONOMIC, SOCIAL and ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY: two independent international companies respectively took care of carrying out the sustainability study and, the other, of evaluating it.
The entire project involves a two-year execution program, followed by an on-site training period (thanks to qualified Italian personnel) for the more than 3.000 employees who shall find fixed and seasonal employment within the supply chain.
"We are very proud to be able to contribute to the development of this country".
