Weaning area

The equipment in the weaning area are essentially represented by crates raised over the floor or by boxes on the ground. The several bounding elements (floor, lateral barriers, troughs and plants) should be designed according to the special demands of the breeding. There are also some innovative solutions concerning the new techniques for the "early weaning".
The planning of a limited area of the floor with a warm floor ensures the best comfort even to the new born piglets.

It is certainly the most delicate area inside the breeding, as it hosts the piglets under conditions of maximum stress after the removal from the mother and also under the influence of an unfamiliar place.
