These stalls can be adapted to both split ground and litter. The different stabling solutions are so clear: from stalls on litter only, to stalls with rest area on litter and feeding area mechanized or on split ground, to stalls on split ground only. Among the different solutions, an essential choice is the type of feeding racks, the communication passages and the gates that shall allow the blocking of the animals in a suitable part of the stall so as to execute the control of the litters and the movement and control of the animal with full safety.
