it appears clear how much important it is, in order to guarantee the highest success to ones own farming, to provide animals with the best environmental conditions possible. The various factors which contribute to determine the environment, can be divided as follows:
- climatic conditions, such as temperature, relative humidity and speed of the air;
- quality of the air, as to the presence of noxious gas and dust;
- non-climatic conditions, such as stalls quantity, space per head, flooring type and overall equipment. All these different factors interact with one another, thus influencing the animals good health and their ensuing performances substantially.
